Last weekend we went to the Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY. A dangerous place for me to go – oh the textures and colors and well, all that livestock and wool. I managed to leave with just a bit of roving to play with, but I am in love with all those Angora goats above. Hmm… as I said, a dangerous place for me to go.
Despite all the animals, and the hay maze, and the ice cream, and the herding dogs, and the displays of lovely wool and treasures, the kids favorite part was simply the leaves. Lots of leave + good friends = bushels of fun.

Such beautiful goats! I love how you wear your baby, so cute 🙂
Oh how I wish there was a fiber festival around here, I may have to travel to one next year. Looks like a great time.
