The Backyard Farming Connection Hop #62

The holiday's are over, and despite the extreme cold, we're dreaming thoughts of spring.  It may be a little early, but I can just imagine clearing out the new gardens and prepping the new gardens.  Meanwhile, we're toughing out the below zero temps by planning the garden and getting some seeds ordered.

I want to know what's happening, in your garden, on your homestead, in the barnyard, and in the kitchen.  Whatever is in your backyard farm and home, I would love to hear about it.

Each week I will share some of my favorite posts on the Backyard Farming Connection Facebook page.  And in case you haven't seen, I have a 'featured button' so if you've been featured in the past, grab a button.

  1. Good evening, Gretchen, and Happy New Year! Here we are in California at 68 degrees today. Sounds great until you realize that we are in a serious drought! We are just about to wither up and blow away - no rain in almost two months now! Nonetheless, I am pouring over my seed catalogues also! I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't .......
Oh, and thanks for hosting! :)
