The Backyard Farming Connection Hop #22

I've enjoyed seeing a few photos this week from around the country of spring bulbs and a little bit of green.  It may not be spring here yet, but the first signs are here: a few migratory birds, a slightly warmer breeze (you know the kind that just feels like spring), and lots of mud.  This week's features are all about planting and getting ready for the growing season.

From one of my favorite blog, Bepa Garden shared a post on Starting Seeds in Soil Blocks.

From The Homestead Garden, check out this post on Growing Rhubarb.  If you haven't visited this site, you will find some great resources for growing specific plants.

I want to know what's happening, in your garden, on your homestead, in the barnyard, and in the kitchen.  Whatever is in your backyard farm and home, I would love to hear about it.

Each week I will share some of my favorite posts in the newly formed Backyard Farming Connection Facebook page.  And in case you haven't seen, I have a new 'featured button' so if you've been featured in the past, grab a button.

  5. Hi, I am looking forward to being a part of this hop. I've tried to use your code in my wordpress self-hosted blog, but it comes up with a broken image and link. I am still somewhat new to all of this, so I do apologize if I'm doing something wrong, however I've copied other's codes and all worked just fine. I'd appreciate any help you could give me on this. Thanks!
