Backyard Farming Connection Hop #2

It's another week and it's time to share at the Backyard Farming Connection Hop; every Tuesday here and at Simple and Joyful.  I want to know what's happening, in your garden, on your homestead, in the barnyard, and in the kitchen.  Whatever is in your backyard farm, I would love to hear about it.

Each week I will share some of my favorite posts in the newly formed Backyard Farming Connection Facebook page.  So grab a button, and link up what you've been up to, I can't wait to hear!

  1. Gretchen, thank you for inviting me to participate in your blog hop! I have submitted my post about chicken butchering (#8), which I did all by myself! Yay, me! I can laugh now, but it wasn't easy. Well, easy in the technical sense, but it's not so easy emotionally, but so important for those wanting to raise animals for meat.

Next, I shared #9, which are the pictures of our new property (but not quite living there yet). Feel free to delete it if it's not suitable for a backyard farming hop.

Thanks for hosting and have a great day!

    1. Both posts looks great - good for you for butchering your own chicken - I'm working up to that!
