The Backyard Farming Connection Hop #68

OK - I am all about putting on a happy face about winter, but 3 snow storms in a week and single digit temps most nights is just a little too much for me at the moment - luckily after tomorrow's snowstorm, it looks like we may get a few days for tapping the maple trees.

This week's features are all about compost:

From Garden Up Green, Direct Compost

From On the Homefront, My Worm Farm

I want to know what's happening, in your garden, on your homestead, in the barnyard, and in the kitchen.  Whatever is in your backyard farm and home, I would love to hear about it.

Each week I will share some of my favorite posts on the Backyard Farming Connection Facebook page.  And in case you haven't seen, I have a 'featured button' so if you've been featured in the past, grab a button.

For details on linking up visit the hop page.

  3. Well, that would be a little much for most people! I'm glad you're going to get to tap your trees. I love maple syrup and I be fresh from your own trees is even better. Spring is almost here!

The kids are on break this week... so I'm resurrecting an old post from last year. Are psychotropic drugs "Like Insulin for Diabetes" ... Or Not? The book "Anatomy of an Epidemic" suggests not. I read the book and this post discusses it.
    Have a great week!
