Announcing a new ebook: Farm to Table Through the Year

Today I want to share a little project that is very near and dear to my heart.  Over the last several months I have collaborated with 11 fellow writers, gardeners and cooks to create a community Farm to Table Book that I will be sharing here next week.  I am a firm believer that the best food comes from fresh local ingredients, and this book is a reflection of this passion.

The book is a culinary and gardening journey through the 12 months of the year with growing tips, first hand growing information, recipes, and photos to inspire you in your own backyard and in your kitchen this year.  The book will be released here on my site as a free download on Thursday, March 14th, or you can find a copy on the other contributing author’s sites.  If you want a copy sent to you on Thursday, you can sign up for my email here: Subscribe to The Backyard Farming Connection by Email

To give you a taste of some of the wonderful contributing authors included in this book, I’m sharing their information as well as a table of contents.  Take a moment to check out their sites and stay tuned to get your own copy next week!

  1. Thank you for asking me to be a part of this project. It is something I am passionate about and to be able to write and share my experiences reaffirms the reasons why I want to continue down this path.

  2. Gretchen, the book looks amazing! Thanks so much for including me. I'm so excited to try some of the new recipes and try to grow some of the new to me veggies.
