Backyard Farming Connection Hop #8

I hope you are all having a wonderful week.  I am currently 'stuck' on vacation with family in South Carolina - meaning our flight was cancelled and we're spending an extra day at the beach.  I am managing to get this hop up this week, and will be checking in from home again sometime on Tuesday!

Here are some of my favorite posts from last week - I'll get some pictures up when I get to my own computer!

From Scratch Cradle: Managing the Molt

And from Prep Utility Vehicle: Books Available and Dehydrating Tomatoes

I want to know what's happening, in your garden, on your homestead, in the barnyard, and in the kitchen.  Whatever is in your backyard farm and home, I would love to hear about it.

Each week I will share some of my favorite posts in the newly formed Backyard Farming Connection Facebook page.  And in case you haven't seen, I have a new 'featured button' so if you've been featured in the past, grab a button.

  1. I'm so honoured that you decided to feature my post! I put your button on my sidebar proudly. :) I couldn't get the html to work though, so it doesn't link up. Any tips welcome!

I was embarrassed to see you chose the picture of the FAIL for the feature, though! LOL Yikes!

    Thank you again! :)

    1. So funny - I was updating the photos remotely and have loads of trouble getting photos in the post for some reason. I just added one of the 'good' ones :) I am working on the button - I can't get it to work. Thanks for letting me know!

    2. The button problem may well be blogger--I couldn't get the other feature buttons for other places to work either.

I'll be anxiously awaiting your getting home to change the photo--after all I know that will be your FIRST priority. LOL

  3. Hello! I'm a newbie both to your blog and to homesteading. We just moved in about three weeks ago. I found you through your fall blog hop on Fresh Eggs Daily. Thank you for hosting.
